Melanie Ross-Levin

Melanie Ross-Levin is proud to be running to serve Delaware’s 10th district in the State House of Representatives. A lifelong resident of Wilmington, she has spent her life serving the citizens of Delaware through her many positions in public service. She currently serves as the Director of the Delaware State Office of Women’s Advancement and Advocacy and has contributed to countless legislative efforts for paid family and medical leave, minimum wage enhancement, and the promotion of equal rights.

Melanie Ross-Levin has long been a champion for women and has worked tirelessly to pass the Equal Rights Amendment in Delaware, as well as expanding coverage and protection for pregnant women, and expanding access to menstrual hygiene products in schools and prisons. She also led the national coalition of grassroots organizers to pass the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which was the first bill that President Barack Obama signed.

Throughout her career in public service, Ross-Levin has championed LGBTQ and women’s rights issues. Melanie Ross-Levin’s work centers on a mission to make Delaware a more inclusive, equitable, and safe place for all citizens, regardless of gender identity.
